Description Of Work: Garage For You worked with an architect's plans for a 2 1/2 car garage to match the style of our house. He gave us a detailed estimate, provided excellent sub-contractors for related tasks such as forestry and paving, did the work on time and exactly according to budget. Because we wanted to match the garage to the house, the dimensions and features of the garage we chose were beyond the range of most standard garages, and it is truly a custom job. The architectural plans were executed exactly to specifications, and the beauty of the finished product adds to the value of our home, rather than just being someplace to park the cars.

Every part of the project was handled in a professional manner, and the crew size was always sufficient to perform their task within a day or two. The workmanship was well above average, and when the job was completed, the Village inspector commented that he thought the quality of work was very high. The Village of Winnetka is notoriously picky about companies that do work in town, and the projects they approve get rigorous scrutiny. This company easily met the high standards required.

Description Of Work: Demolition and Removal of old garage and cement. Construction of a new 30 X 20 7/12 Reverse Gable Garage with (2) 16x7 Doors and 36" Entry Door, (3) Windows. Work included all materials, electric, permits, cement, and finish work.

Member Comments: Overall, the construction, cement, and electric work were very professionally done and the quality of the work and materials were excellent. Of all the estimates I received from other companies, (seven); Garage For You was the only company that the actual general contractor Ricky came out to the site to give professional input and to answer questions. I was impressed with the cement company used. The cement contractor added extra support to cement because of the size of the garage. The garage was built in the time frame promised. The demolition company contracted could have been better, but Ricky resolved our issues promptly. Overall, I would recommend Garage for You to family and friends without any reservations.

Description Of Work: Garage for you built me a garage from scratch they poured a foundation then concrete floor and then put up the walls and roof, doors, windows and did the electrical work and also a remote to open door.

Member Comments: They did a wonderful job. I was very pleased when they came out to give me an estimate. They showed me all the materials they where going to be using; they answered all my questions. I was still getting more estimates that where out this world prices because I had choosen red siding for my garage they where very reasonable the village took long to approve permit but that is the way they work in the village; as soon as they had the go ahead they where out here digging one, two, three, they're done. I was very lucky to have good weather threw the whole project!
